Arthur Smith is Daphne Fairfax: The Stage Podcast #25

In his career, Arthur Smith has been a stand-up comic and compere, an Olivier-nominated playwright and, of course, has been a columnist for The Stage for nearly 15 years.

In the latest edition of The Stage Podcast, Arthur talks to Nick Smurthwaite about his new autobiography, My Name is Daphne Fairfax: A Memoir.

The book will also be serialised as Radio 4’s Book of the Week from Monday. For more details, visit the Radio 4 website.

Arthur Smith has claimed to be Daphne Fairfax but I have found out who the real Daphne Fairfax is. You can discover more about her at http://www.toxicdrums.com/daphne-fairfax.html . Can I have a free copy of the book please :o) Having seen Arthur several times at gigs in London I'd just like to say well done for bringing some insightful humour into this miserable world. Love and kisses - Sam
