For five decades, Ray Brooks has been a recognisable face - and voice - of British television and film. From 1965’s “The Knack and How to Get It”, to “Cathy Come Home”, the big screen adaptation of “Doctor Who” opposite Peter Cushing. and, to generations of youngsters, the voice of “Mister Benn”. In 2005, he joined the cast of EastEnders as Joe Macer. He has now penned an autobiography, Learning My Lines.
He joins Mark Wright to discuss his long and varied career.
