Poor baby…

So axed X Factor contestant Daniel De Bourg thinks his exit from the show last Saturday was down to a conspiracy, possibly created by Simon Cowell. Cowell, he claims saw him as a threat to his own acts remaining in the competition.

“I don’t trust Simon because it’s his show. I think he may have had something to do with that song choice,”

he has told Digital Spy.

Sorry Daniel, mate, but this is hardly just another case for Mulder and Scully, is it? You were rubbish in boot camp, you were rubbish in the live shows thus far, and on Saturday you stank the auditorium out.

If you truly had the X Factor, a change in song at the 11th hour shouldn’t have troubled the scorer. I’m getting very bored of contestants in these shows failing to possess any of the required “the show must go on” mentality that truly marks out the pros from the karaoke hacks. And yes, karaoke hack is exactly what Mr De Bourg was on Saturday night. That being said, nobody else is that much cop this year, but the best man deservedly lost on Saturday.

Look on the bright side, Daniel, you could team up with dumped SCD contestant Gabby Logan and release a Christmas single. You could sing it, she could dance it. Job done!
