Zoe Tyler: Tara would make a good Sandy

In this week’s print edition of The Stage, Zoe Tyler continues her exclusive column reviewing I’d Do Anything.

In this week’s column, she looks at the two actresses in the sing-off, Keisha and Tara, and concludes that on the sing-off alone, Tara should have stayed.

Of the Welsh actress who left the show this weekend, she also says:

She’s not Nancy, but would make a fabulous Sandy in Grease. David Ian, are you listening? Give the girl a job. She’d be great.

Oooh I am the first!! Going home now so see you all tomorrow at lunchtime!! (or I may sneak a peak in the morning!!)

Am I the first one here? Woo-hoo!

Maggie, please pass on all our love and ohms to Martin. And even though we are such a distance apart, please do let us know if there is anything we can do to help. You have your hands so full, and I'm sure all the loppies would be glad to lend support any way we can. In the meantime, best wishes and prayers for a swift and complete recovery; and all our best to your mum (and you!) too.

CarolynW, that was a lovely link, thanks you so much for alerting us to it.

And thanks, AliB for the soundtrack info too.

Came home to an e-mail from work: didn't get the job so at least I don't have to stress over the decision of whether to accept it or not. Obviously wasn't right for me, so just need to look for something better.

Adding ohhmmms to the bank: Ohmmmmmmmmmm.

Ooh you just beat me Ali B and I was so proud of getting on at all as my computer being "awkward" at moment

Oops, where are my manners? Thank you for the new home, Scott. Hope you're feeling better. Oh, and we're still waiting to hear about your holiday plans.

Hi all.Hmmmmm, nice.(Looking around the new place. Not so sure about sharing with Zoe, though, but as long as she behaves herself.....)
Scott dear,- how is your people flu doing? Thank you for finding a new place for us.
Geri,- those people don't know a good thing (or a good Lepry) when they see one. It's their loss.
Carolyn W,- thank you for the link. Isn't he lovely, and he was so proud and thrilled, wasn't he? He even treated us to a giggle!

Oh Geri, That was a lovely message to Maggie, and yes if there is anything anyone of us can do to help please let us know.
I'm sorry you didn't get the job Geri but as you say I think you need to look for something better don't sell yourself short girl.
Talking of cloning, (naughty eva)has anybody read the book "The Third Twin" can't remember who it was by, I am sure one of you will know, cracking read.

Just checked the college site: I got another first on the last literature paper. Puts me in a good position going into the exam.

Happy New Home everybody. Thanks again Scott. Hope you're feeling better.

Geri - well, bad news and then good news. Sorry about the job. As Eva said, it's their loss. As one door closes another one opens! But well done on the lit paper. Here's raising a glass to you!

Jill - keep your eye on that Pauline, there's no knowing what lengths she'll go to for a case or several of wine - shoving me around like that. Pauline, get out of my way - the Chief needs me behind her in the queue - right Chief? Chief?? Where's she sloped off to? Wine, BHB, Chief Lushloppy - hmm, somethings going on!!

Jane - blowing a raspberry at you...........

Ladies I have just had a thought( might have to lie down)if Ploppy and I are arriving back on Friday late afternoon, how about we all meet at Eva's for a party (not far from the tunnel)we can sample the wine we have on board??????????????????????????????????

Well what a nice new home we have, thankyou Scott. I see you have unpacked and made it comfortable.

What a roller coaster of a day, bad news, good news. Geri has as ever said evrything much better than I can Maggie, I just second what she says.

Sorry about the job Geri, but as long as you are ok that's all that matters. Bet you get something better in the end. Well done on the lit. paper anyway.

Carolyn thanks for the lovely link, aw bless didn't he looked pleased!

Ow , Karen don't push I'll push back, I will. We've got cases of wine here, tell you what lets just test it to make sure it's ok shall we?

OOoo Scott, thank you for the new home! Are you feeling better?

Shirley2, if I'm not too late, have a fantastic time tonight.

Ali B thanks for the sound track info and Carolyn W thanks for that lovely link - for once my PC let me watch a video!

Geri, I'm very sorry to hear about the job - but they've shown themselves to be no judges of character, so not worth working for. Well done on the lit paper though I'm raising a glass (well beer bottle) to you!

Jill I think you'll find I'm just behind Karen in the queue, but she's every so rude - she's just blown a raspberry at me!

Jill, I thought about having a get-together too, in fact I've already started checking for decent places in the area where we can get together for dinner. The Dublops have some other goodies planned too, so just relax and know we're going to take good care of you. However, Jill, I think a case of vino for each of us would be a splendid thank you present -- what do you think, Karen2?

Forgot to mention, David Soul is coming to Dublin at the end of the month to appear in Love Letters with Jerry Hall. Why couldn't it have been PM Glaser?

Jill,- it wasn't excactly how I had planned to spend my Friday night, but of course I'll have a party to welcome you all home. Black coffee, aspirin on the ready (for the hangovers. I'm being nice!), I'll start to d*st and h****r, get out the best (well maybe not the best) glasses, bottle opener and I'm ready to party!
Geri, - another first! Congrats, little one!

Forgot to say thank you Scott for new home and smooth switchover.

Geri - congratulations and commiserations but something better will come along and this interview will have been good practice.

Eldest scollop off to france fro day on friday too - i have put in my order - wine and choc.

Off out now for curry to celebrate his birthday - and to drown my sorrows - I am now the mother of a young man in his twenties - how did that happen!!

Oooo a party on Friday, we'll make sure to bring lots of wine back then Eva. Anything else you need?

Fi not only a child bride but a mother at 7, you are a medical marvel!

Ooh a new home! Thank you Scott Dear - hope you are feeling better. Pauline and Karen, settle down, orderly queue behind me I said! CarolynW thank you for the link - bless! Geri it obviously wasn't meant to be - but their loss. Although it obvously wasn't the job for you, the one that is is out there waiting for you - and well done on the 1st. Maggie can only echo what has been said. OK off to cook for Ploppy's supper now - but we have a night in! Things to do, but hopefully I'll be able to pop back a little more than usual. Did I mention ONE SLEEP?

Bad luck and Well done Geri. If you carry on getting firsts like this you'll be in the runnung for a much better job.

I'd like a case of Chateau Neuf du Pape please Jill!

Or even Chateauneuf du Pape!

Pauline2,- since this is going to be a virtual party, you can bring on the Belgian chocs too and some nice cheese. I don't have diabetes in the virtual world. That's why I enjoy it so much!
Carol,- a night in! No rehearsals, no singing? Be nice to Ploppy!

Ooo a virtual party - is Karen2 in charge of entertainment? - I seem to recall those dancers she booked for the last one went down well!

Can someone bring a few bottles of champers? Crystal would be nice. So who's in charge of entertainment?

NoI Crystal in the house but do have some Bolly! Aunty Eva I am ALWAYS nice to Ploppy! It is part of the training regime you see....makes them really feel happy and then they do nice things like buy you a ticket to see a West End show......In fact he has just poured me a large g&t - see, trained to perfection! Forgot to say in Rome had a g&t where I could only get about a fifth of the tonic bottle into the glass as the rest of it was pure gin - lovely! Karen2 enjoy the bowling. Strangely the only time I have ever been to Dublin there was a hurling final on (August time) and the streets were full of supporters. Didn't stop us visitng the Guiness Museum of the Jameson distillery!

What a lovely clip of Lee and his golden record. Love the giggle at the end.
Maggie, my best wishes for Martin and your mother. Take as much Ohhhmmms as you need.

Eva, now that is swift delivery I only posted the card on Monday. You see it can be done.
Since Lee I receive a lot of mail from England and the fastest delivery was 3 days and the slowest 10 days.
Go figure.

Diana and Suex great reviews. Major thudding then Suex?
Geri, sorry that you didn’t get the job but there might be a better job right around the corner. Great news on your lit. paper though.

Ohhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm for the empty bank.

No problem Eva lots of lovely cheese and maybe some nice crusty bread, and lots of scrummy Belgian chocs on the list.
Geri we'll bring a crate of champers, or maybe two?

Hi Everyone,
I see we've moved again. Thank you for our nice new home Scott.
Must sort a meal and I'll be back to say hello properly and catch up - another long day at work but wrote another memory from our GSLA at lunchtime so here it is ...
got very dreamy re-living it.

Hi everyone,
Here’s the next instalment of the Giggle Sisters London Adventure.

And in a breath he was gone! He disappeared into the backstage world of the Adelphi.
We were left; shaking and staring at each other in disbelief.

Lin was unbelievable – OMG, OMG…. He’s so gorgeous. Now I know what you mean!!! Yes Ladies, this is where she crossed the line. (well who wouldn’t)

Hazel was so excited too, he recognised you ! No, he couldn’t have, they agreed, yes he did – there was real recognition there. He recognised you from the scrum. Rewind back to the Wednesday scrum - I asked him if it was ok to video and he said hello to my camera. Well me behind it really …..surely not?

Into the Porterhouse for a nerve calming glass, then off we floated to the front of the Adelphi for our much awaited VIP transfer from December. Knowing there would be lots of Champagne on tap as part of the package, we had invited Hazel (Frandlec) Abs (Anne) and Millie Mollie (Amanda) from LMAS to join us as they were at the show too. The three of us were high as kites and by the time Anne and Amanda joined us. They thought we had downed a fair bit of champers already! Strangely enough we hadn’t; it was Lee love that had us floating!

Lin, Anne and I were shown to our seats in row A of the Dress Circle and I was immediately aware of the young man next to me munching away on sweeties. Gave disapproving look to MMM…. Got glare back. Grrr….
Hazel and Amanda were in the stalls , we gave them a wave – MMM frowned- was not impressed!

And so it began……tension as the announcements were made,,,,phew!
The orchestra struck up, then a big shout as the children ran into the auditorium and onto the stage……...considering this was the eighth time I had seen the show, I was still apprehensive….will he perform? Yes I’d just seen him arrive but you never know. For me, the intensity has deepened with each show.

Butterflies …..….focus on Jenna and the children, strong performance from her, great voice……….….oh dear! can’t keep eyes from that spot……..…there was a tangible air of anticipation all around and then HE appeared. Serene and beautiful, Joseph.
Oh my.! Deep breaths, deep breaths….the theatre erupted with whoops and applause.
Big, big smile right from the start tonight but still seemed to be protecting his voice. Nevertheless, he sounded wonderful and gave a fabulous performance throughout. The whole cast was just as enthusiastic and committed to the performance. Mark played Ruben just as comically as he did on Wednesday.

Munching Minstrel Man (MMM) was really bugging me and I made some obvious glances in his direction to hopefully give him the message that he was disturbing me, all amounted to nothing so when he reached for the bag as the prison bars were lowering down for CED I shifted my weight toward him and without looking at him (coz couldn’t take them off GO) and said please don’t rustle your packet during this. He passed the packet to his girlfriend without a sound. GOOD!

We had an excellent view of the whole stage form the Dress Circle and I can report that Mrs Potifhers handmaidens were VERY frisky hence I am applying for a role of handmaiden. OH! Darn it!!!! Just been told I’ve got to be able to sing, dance and drop 30 years. May have a bit of a problem there!

Although there are benefits from the Dress Circle I would much rather be in the front stalls where you feel a real connection with the performers.

All too soon the megamix began and we were clapping along. To say the D/C audience was sedate would be an enormous understatement. Some were positively comatose! I didn’t feel we could stand as it would have been rude as no one behind us was up. Then what do you know? MMM turned to me and asked me to stop waving my hand in his face! Hmmmmm maybe I was clapping rather enthusiastically!!! I felt like telling him to get a life but resisted and changed the direction.
We stood as the cherry picker descended and stayed on our feet for the curtain calls, slowly some people stood with us but everyone was clapping and looked happy. The lights came up and our lovely butler was waiting at the end of our row to whisk us away to collect our things before escorting us to the scrum. And, that turned out to be rather different than I had previously experienced!

SueX that was fantastic, but I've heard of milking it and this is what you are doing now! Give the rest please, or you might not get an invite to Evas' party on Friday.
(Gosh didn't that sound masterful!!!!)

Oh Suex - wonderful! You're bringing it all back! Sigh!

I perhaps better say goodnight as I had a late night yesterday!

Bye bye Loppies - see you tomorrow!

I'm loving this SueX 0 have you been taking lessons from our Laureate in the art of delivering cliffhangers!

Pauline2 - I call that bossy not masterful - here let me pour you another to chill you out!!

Oh the suspense of it all Suex I will have to wait till Friday for the next instalment of your wonderful time in London.
Right Ladies off to watch The Apprentice, then off to bed, got to look my best for THE PARTY on Friday.
See you Friday night.

Scott-Thank you for our lovey new home. I do really hope you are feeling better and haven't come down with a secondary infection. I did the other week, so take care.

Check list started, getting excited about going abroad for non work purpose, first time in 12 years!! 1)Work hols booked 2)Flights booked 3)Passport up to date (and I know where it is).

SueX, you mean there's more you are such a tease. I suppose I've been lucky I've never sat next to a rustler.

SueX - and?? and??? You tease!! So Lin is now a fully signed up Loppy?? Were you wearing your Thud again? Did I mention I was seeing the show tomorrow?? Jane-E - late night? Hopefully with lots of incohol! Must admit I am feeling a little sleepy but will fight it off for a while. Wonder how Karen2's bowling is going...OK pass the champers - I've finished the g&ts and feel some bubbles are called for!

PS Scott, can you leave the usual breadcrumb trail for non regular Loppies. Translation: Add Loppies to the Tags. Thank you.

Sorry didn't mean to be bossy, not me at all! Thanks Karen I needed that, just got over excited. Carol, champers? Oh alright then if you insist, feeling very chilled now, so whenever you've got time Suex, that's fine by me.

Now, now, Pauline2 where are your loppy good manners? Be patient, I can only type with four fingers!

Sending love and oooohhhhmmmms to Maggie and Martin x

Geri, sorry the job didn't work out for you, always a next time! and Well Done - another first? you are a bright spark!

Diana, I loved reading your review- what a fantastic close encounter you had to get so much detail.

Eva, of course HE is saving himself for you. (we'll let lovely Eva dream hey?)

Carol and Auds, Row A tomorrow? can't wait to hear all about it. Glad you have accepted the DNA collecting mission ! I tried to find a hair in the baseball cap but alas no luck.

Karen2, oooh the thought of getting the thud signed whilst wearing it...(goes off to have cold shower)
Actually I was wearing a thud shirt but the one I asked Lee to sign is a size smaller than I wear at the moment, Idea being I would be so keen to wear it I would be encouraged to loose weight.

Ooohh Shirley2 will be thudding right now........

I'm up for the party, got a few bottles of champers to bring. Hope the balloon dancers can be booked.

Does anyone know who Mrs Potifher is? must learn to check things.

Pauline2 - I never said bossy was a bad thing - go on do it again, get her told!!! We want more and we want it now!!

Alright then Karen, SueX I'm telling you there'll be no party for you until we know all! no excuses, four fingers is plenty to type with, so come on, now... please, pretty please?

Is that ok?

I think Suex has been brushing up on her Dickens, with endings like this. That's the way he did it, isn't it? Don't listen to Pauline2. Of course you are coming on Friday. You can do the intro to the performing acts!
So, do we agree that Karen2 is responsible for the entertainment bit on Friday night? I have some nice decking in my garden that can be turned into a dance floor. If you're wondering about who to invite for the dnacing, Karen2, can I suggest the delectable Richard Armitage? Is it OK if we borrow him for one night, Scott dear?

Suex,- four fingers? You're a veritable racer compared to me. I only use two, but they are well trained. I can write very fast after years of writing reports and interviews down. We didn't do fancy recordings in my time. Oh no, it was all fingers to the grind!

I like it Pauline2.

Yes I think Karen2 should be in charge of entertainment and if it's balloon dancing again I'll bring the pencils!!

Karen2 - remember how much I helped you with the boys in the garden last time - well I'll be there for you again this time - that's what friends are for. Maybe I'll find the shoe I lost behind the shed - oh sorry, different garden, different shed - well maybe I could lose the other shoe - Eva, do you have a garden shed behind which I could lose a shoe, or whatever!!!

Oh dear this is sad - Ploppy watching some architectural programme on BBC2 and I falling asleep, so think I'll follow JaneEs example and head for the duvet. Don't even think I will read tonight - do you think incohol is finally starting to affect me? Sweet Meads all.

Ok, Ok,this is the last of the milking session!

Lin ( baby loppy – full of new found enthusiasm) kicked into lighting mode and secured us a good spot at the front of the scrum. There wasn’t as much pushing and shoving as we had at the wed show and it didn’t seem very long before Lee appeared looking drop dead gorgeous. Lee remembered us from the stage door and said I could send my thud to him for a ‘proper’ autograph, I went all soppy and forgot everything brain = mush? Yes that was me! Lin told him she had travelled from Edinburgh and his eyes widened “I’ve been there!” he exclaimed and went on to chat to her about the festival. Bless him; he was surprised that she had travelled so far to see him! I moved to the back as some ‘other’ questions were asked and for the first time felt rather uncomfortable scrumming. We had a night cap back at our hotel and spent ages looking at our pics and going over the nights events. Not a wink of sleep was had!
We met my Son and his Fiancée for lunch on Saturday and went to the Peter Doig Exhibition in the afternoon. Brenda and Kirsten had gone to the matinee and joined us for coffee at our hotel afterwards. Kirsten with Ploppy and her two adorable girs and Brenda with a friend from work. Then we got ourselves ready and took off to the Old Vic to see Kevin Spacey and Jeff Goldbloom in Speed the Plow. I must say, KS blew my socks off with a magnificent performance!
Well, we rounded off our adventure standing in the pouring rain watching the Marathon on Sunday morning and planning our next trip in June!

Suex,- you don't half pack it in, do you? All that in a couple of days! I'm impressed, and green with envy.
Karen,- no shed, but there is plenty of room behind the garage. Will that do?

Oh Maggie, you're in my thoughts and prayers, Get Well Soon to Martin, and ohhhmmmsss for your mum.

Carol, so glad there's better news about your uncle.

Geri, bad luck about the job, but well done on the 'first'

Suex, thanks for the review, you lucky lady!!

Thanks for the link Carolyn, wasn't he delightful?

Nite nite all.

Yes Eva , suppose thats why I'm so cream crackered this week
but I'll be fine by Friday for the party!!!!

Thank you SueX for putting us out of our misery and finishing the account of your travels to the big smoke.

Oh Maggie, I've just read the end of the other blog page. I do hope Martin and your Sloppy feel better soon. I do hope you have got some time off work to allow you time to deal with this.

SueX - thanks for that, just a shame it had to end!

Carol - shock, horror! Never!! I refuse to believe it!

Eva - oo the garage will do nicely thank you (hear that Karen2!!).

Ah thankyou Suex that was worth the wait. How great is that, and you will get Thud signed. I'm suprised you are coherent and will forgive the milking.

Carol of course it's not the effects of incahol, just too much work and over excitement for ROW A tomorrow.

Karen you better bring thermals if you are capering round the garage Friday, it's going cold again!

Just watched The Apprentice and thought Claire should have gone, bolshie woman. Didn't like her.

SueX _ I am exhausted reading about your exploits. Dont know how you coped.

Maggie - have sent you email and text - all very best wishes to you and martin (and Mum)

Off to bed too as off to London tomorrow - no not to show but to meet friend who is down from Scotland. She is mad - had her only child 2 years ago when she was in her early 50's. Will be great to see them but I will heave a sigh of relief that I am past that stage. Perhaps being a mum of 20 year old is not that bad after all.

Thanks for the new home Scott and hope you are feeling better.
Oooooohhhhmmmmmssss for Maggie and Martin - hope Martin and your Sloppy make good progress.
Thanks for the reviews SueX and Diana. Looking forward to Shirley2s and Carol and Auds reviews.
Sorry about the job Geri but congrats on the Ist for your Lit paper.
Are we having balloon dancers at the party Eva? This time I'll have to pace myself, don't want to get left behind with BooHoo again!
Saw DE on TM and thought how old he looked. Couldn't make all the notes, or sustain them on GMYAS. Not a patch on the GO's version.
Must be nearly bedtime. Got to go food shopping tomorrow.
Night all.

Pauline2 - thermals?????? That is sooooooooo not the look I was planning on for the party, especially the bit behind the garage - don't forget I will have the BHB to warm me up, and maybe Ramps could join us again too - look I'm overheating already!!!!

No thermals? Well I see your point, with that going on behind the garage, blow the cold I'll join you!

Eva, have e-mailed you.

Forgot to say. I heard GN talking on Frontrow R4, this evening about the KS comments. He didn't mention GO at all. So no news really!

Must put rest of shopping away, 2 very nice men delivered it about 2 hrs ago.

Not certain that plans should be made for 'playing' outside on Friday, as sounds like it might be very cold. Don't want the 'guests' to get a chill. I'll do some tasteful cucumber sandwiches (no crusts), organic bread and spread. I have a pack of very small balloons left from last time, better bring those too.

Nightlee night

Karen and Pauline2,- if you plan to play outside on Friday night, you'll certainly need something to keep you warm! The weather forecast is dreadful. I'll leave the side door to the garage open, so you can retreat in there if necessary! If you leave me RA, you can take Ramps with you..... for 5 minutes! As for BHB, well, I think the others might have something to say there.
Kathleen,- we will leave the finer details of the entertainment to Karen2, so as they say....watch this space.
And with that I will bid you all good night, sleep tight, have wonderful dreams and wake up happy.

Party's sounding better and better but nooooo thermals not glam at all!

Milking? what milking?

I'm off too, nightlee night x

This party is not to be missed. It gets better all the time. Anyway, time for bed, hope Shirley2 had a good time. Silly me of course she did!

Ohhhhmmmmms for all in need, and special ohhhhhmmmmms for Martin.

Night night all sleep tight.

Eva - thank you, you are so good to us - you can have RA all to yourself, the BHB we know and accept we have to share but Ramps, well, hmm we'll see!! And on that note I'm off to my bed to dream of balloon dancing and shenanigans behind the garage! Sweet dreams indeed.

Night all. Sleep well.

Typical, I finally manage to wrestle the laptop off ploppy and you've all gone to bed! Oh well, you can read this in the morning - Geri congrats on the 1st, and as for the job, it's their loss and something better is on the horizon.
Just said a prayer for Martin and your sloppy Maggie, take care.

I wonder if anyone can help me with a dilemma? Last year we moved onto a small, new development (40 houses). There is a green area in the centre, fenced all around, landscaped and with a couple of pieces of play equipment. Problem: children playing football there and damaging the shrubs and the ball going over the fence. Half of the residents are parents and feel the kids should be allowed to play football but should be encouraged to respect the area and be a bit more gentle, not easy! Remaining residents want "No ball game" signs erected and would probably prefer not to have any kids out there at all! Solution????
I am torn as both a parent and someone who wants a peaceful relationship with the neighbours. I'm also fed up with kids coming from outside the close and abusing the green and the resident children being blamed. Solution????
This could turn nasty if we don't find a way forward so if anyone can help I'd be very grateful. A residents association has been set up and emails are flying about, but no-one can see how to resolve this.
And on that note I'm off to bed, sweet meads
Oops nearly forgot, thanks for our new home Scott, take some ooohhhmmmms

Ok, really Scott, I come home after just a few little drinks and I find I have to navigate my way to a new blog, good job you weren't asking me to walk in a straight line.
hehe don't think I'd have been very good at it.

Geri, hard luck but congrats on the lit result. It can only be a sign that it was not the job for you, even the benefits you would have lost. And getting your 1st has to be a sign of the successes that you will still have.

Carol, I didn't quite make a show of myself bowling, surprisingly, only came third last this time, but the group of young lads at the next lane found us very amusing.

Yay, another party, and I've to look after entertainment, no better woman! Leave it to me, can I be the Loppy Entertainment Co-Ordinator? (do you have any idea how many times I've just tried to type that word correctly? who says I can't hold my drink?)Anyway, I'll get straight onto it, first thing in the morning. Maybe after I've had a coffee.

Karen - I reckon Eva's garage will be just as good as my garden shed, but you can only lose that shoe once you know, (unless there's something sadly lacking in my education)

Pauline - you can join us but you'll have to have the password and be sworn to secrecy, remember The Green Mile,
"what happens behind the shed, stays behind the shed"

Suex - loving the review installments, you tell it so well, it was really an occasion to remember.

Well, really should get to bed, omg, it's gone 1am!
Lots of oooooooohhhhhhhmmmmmmmmss for everyone and thinking of Martin in hospital.

Morning all!

Suex - thank you - your adventures in London have been like reading a Geri Story!

Fi have a good time in London.

Ali - that's a trick situation, best of luck finding a solution.

So this party in Eva's garage then - do you need to borrow a heater Karen, or do you think you'll stay warm enough!

More OHHHHMMMMMMSSSSS for Martin and Maggie's sloppy and OOOHHHHHHHMMMSSS for anyone who needs them!

So who is going to the show tonight then?

Oy Karen, not so quick telling the Diva she can have RA all to himself -- I, at least, will do some arm-wrestling to make her share. As to the BHB, well you know his place at the top of our hit parade is secure, though we will always have a special fondness for DT, RA, Danny Boy, Scamps-Tramps-Ramps (oh, you know who I mean), not to mention our dear Scott and Martin. Hope you had a restful night, Martin, and will go home soon. Lots of ohhms for you and Maggie plus some extra for the bank -- ohhhhhhmmmmmm....

Well, good morning, BHB, you look well in that blue jumper. And what an unusual belt buckle -- you know, mine is quite similar, it's a Celtic design. You can take a look--oh dear, we seem to have gotten our buckles stuck together. What a shame...oh help(whispers softly)...anybody...No, well, we'll just have to stay like this. What rotten luck! (snigger)

Morning all. Another bright and cold morning, but I'm afraid it will be the last one for a while. Tomorrow is supposed to bring lashings of rain and wind, so I'll enjoy it when I can.
Hello sweetheart. What are you and Geri doing cheek to lower chest? Your buckles are stuck???? How did that happen? Lepry was standing on a stool and started fiddling with your buckle, then suddenly she wouldn't let go? That sounds just like one of her tricks. Well, I'm not going up to the local cop shop again for help. This story will have the PC screaming for the men in white coats. I'll just lift the little blighter (no, not you BHB) up and untangle the buckles. See how easy that was? I'll stash her in a drawer so we can have some peace and quiet. I'll make the coffee and toast this morning, BHB. You need to be served after that experience, or should we call it experiment? What do you want? A hug coming up.
Later this morning I'm doing Syd's shopping, so I'll probably fit in a walk along the beachfront at the same time.
I hope today finds you better Scott dear, and that Martin are getting better in hospital. Ohms and love to both.

Oh, Terry Wogan is opening his morning show with Cliff baby's "We Don't Talk Any More". How lovely.

Morning all

Oops sorry about RA Geri, it was just that Eva is the hostess and she is letting me play with Ramps (if you'll pardon the expression!) behind her garage. No worries, though, you know how Diva loves to share!!

And talking of sharing you seem to be sharing space with the BHB this morning. Oh, look Eva's rescued him, er sorry I mean helped you untangle yourselves.

Jane - I don't think I'll be needing a heater thank you. I have a feeling it may get a little warm out there! Well, it will if I've got anything to do with it!!

Hope all poorly loppies have a better day.

Morning, feeling a bit rough today and so is youngest scollop, but I can't be ill I've got too much to do! Working tonight, off to see 'Cats' tomorrow night, on a course all day Saturday, working that night and again on Sunday, phew I'm feeling dizzy even thining about it!
May I take just a couple of oohhmms please?
Hope Martin had a comfortable night Maggie, and I hope you managed to get some rest, we can't have you ill as well-take care.
I may have to go back to bed for a bit, see you later

Typo - "thinking", definitely back off to bed!

...now, was doing something special today, what could it be? Sure it will come back to me shortly. I'll make the mushroom a la white wine vol au vents for Friday if you like? Also I will provide the party punch (so to speak) if you would like......it has been known to make grown men weep, so we shouldn't have any problems. Train problems again today (grrr) hope Fi has a trouble free journey! Supposed to be sunny today but we've already had a couple of rain shows - but nothing can rain on my parade today! Oh yes, I've remembered, I'm collecting DNA later. Wearing my multi coloured bangle from Ploppy to get in the mood! How many hours to go.........ok it's 10 and a half......Oh SueX how lovely! Sounds like you had the best few days ever (that's cos you met up with me of course)! Lots of oooohhhhhmmmmmmssss for Maggie and Martin and everyone else in need. Better try and do some work now I guess......

Morning all, the plans for the party seem to be coming along nicely, wonder what entertainment Karen2 has in mind. I think that those of us behind or in the garage should be quite entertained anyway. Thankyou for letting me join in! Don't worry my lips will be sealed.

Are you going somewhere special today Carol, I never knew! Hope you and Auds have a great time, as if you wouldn't and remember the DNA, then JaneEs' friend can get working on it for us.

Ali that is a tricky little problem, kids definitely need to play outside and should be taught to respect other peoples property, taking pocket money to help repair damage worked for me. The only other thing I can think of, is there nowhere nesrby where a proper little pitch could be set up for the kids to play football? Probably a silly suggestion but not very good at this being without offspring! Ohhhhhhhhmmmmms for you and hope you feel better soon.

Ohhhhhhhmmmmmmms for Maggie and Martin, hope you had a good night, and Martin do exactly what you are told to do...nothing I should think.

Ohhhhhmmmmmmms for Scott if you still need them, and ohhhhmmmmms for Shirley, hope your tummy is ok today. Ohhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmms for the bank and anyone I forgotten.

Hi BHB I'm here for our usual coffee time, what's that banging noise? It's coming from this drawer.....Geri? What are you doing in there?

Pauline,- leave Geri where she is! She'll only think of another plot to get entangled with BHB again if she's let loose!
Two snippets from the paper today:
Dawn French:
"There are two kinds of women in this world-those who love chocolate and complete bitches." Anyone for some Belgin chocs?
Remember we were talking about why people go jogging? Victoria Wood has the answer:
"Jogging are for people who aren't intelligent enough to watch breakfast television!"

Didn't log on before as had to catch up with all the Apprentice happenings and didn't want to come on here in case it was mentioned before I could watch. Anyway last night's show was fabulous as usual, Lee and the cast looked as if they were loving every minute, very bouncy. Very little dry ice on opening but problems with his mic during CED. Duff note in first verse (cos of mic) then in second verse loud bang and it gave up altogther so he had to finish it all on his own. We were worried he was going to strain his voice but all was well and it was righted by the second act. Full house, no empty seats in stalls that I could see, Lots of applause but no standing until the rise at the end then most people did get up. For reasons I won't go into we didn't stay for the scrum (first time ever)but there's always next time. It was the third time for my friend with another couple booked for her.
Pauline - this was the DE fan - she didn't see This Morning yesterday although I've got a copy she can have but she got really defensive when I started telling her about it(in the nicest possible way) so I think she might be very blinkered but I am honestly interested to know what she thinks of his rendition of GMYAS as I couldn't belive how BAD he was!

Aunty Eva - I'm with both those sentiments, although I am sure incohol should feature in there too. You know my views on jogging already!
Ali - I think the pocket money idea of Pauline's is good - we are in a cul du sac and there is a smal roundabout at one end for turning purposes - the middle of which is a very very small green, but it has never been landscaped and is not big enough to play footie on, but is used by the kids for tennis etc. Unfortunately they also play down the middle of the road, which whilst being fairly safe as we are a cul du sac, is not ideal. Also like you we get "visiting" children too. Its not a major problem and there is a park four minutes away! However, I suspect the parents of the "resident" children like to have them nearby so they can keep an eye on them. Very tricky situation - hopefully someone will have a brainwave!
Nine hours time I will be sitting in ....let me see.....Row A somewhere!
Do you think we should let the Lepry up for air? Give her a coffee and some brekkie? She can go back in the drawer afterwards (see Geri I am very concerned for your welfare!).

Morning all. Up and about today - but very gingerly. Still not right so think I will give the party tomorrow a miss if you dont mind. Water is still challenging.

SueX - amazing. Glad it all went to well for you and Lin.

Carol and Auds have a wonderful time tonight.

Guess I wont be around much today - but have fun at the party if I dont make it back before then.

Grr just hit some random key and lost my post, will start again.....

Firstly, note to self; midweek drinking is not a good idea. Pauline please pass the chocolates, it's turning into that kind of day.

My alarm clock nearly became airborne at 6.30am when I contemplated throwing it out the window, but decided that it would be too much of an effort.
Did any of you notice how late I was on here last night? And I think I was rambling a little (ok a lot) but I'd still like the job of LEC if it's going. I have great plans for Eva's party, including the much requested balloon dancing.

It seems our 2 Shirleys had very different nights last night. Poor Shirley, take it easy and don't overdo it. Bed rest really is the best thing. Shirley2 - thanks for the review, glad to hear he didn't strain his voice. How typical of our boy to just soldier on.

Geri, poor thing, that bully locking you into a drawer again. There has to be something we can do about her........

Ali - hope you feel better soon, I'd love to see Cats, just saw it once here in Dublin years ago. Brilliant, we called our kitten at the time Mr Mistoffles and we used to sing the songs to my sister who was a toddler at the time and she loved it.

Shirley - lots of ooohhhhmmmmmms for you too!

Poor Shirley you sound as if you are having a rotten time of it , lots of ohhhmmms for you.

Choclates coming over Karen2, they really help! Now the best thing about our party is we can guarantee no hangovers.

Shirley2 it might be a kindness not to show your friend DE yesterday! Perhaps she'd rather live in Fools' Paradise!

...Karen2, I hope you are going to put in some serious training before the Dublinfest? Are we restricted to balloon dancing? I have several very nice brightly coloured feather boas......only 6 and three quarter hours.....

I don't need training, I'm not hungover just tired.
Feather boas sound lovely, are they for you or the boys to wear?

Maggie, so so sorry to read about Martin. Lots of ooohhhmmms to you both.

Hope you're feeling better Shirley.

Last night was amazing, never been to anything like it before. Had a good cabin with outside balcony though ensuite very small. We did a self-guided tour of the ship with stop for afternoon tea which was a meal in itself - the facilities are all topnotch, excellent gym, several restaurants, bars, kids area, spa, at least three pools. The naming ceremony was on one of the top decks - it was freezing! Loads of champagne (the real stuff too) and canapes. They showed a mock James Bond film with Patricia Hodge, Samantha Bond, Peter Firth from Spooks (he also attended) along with the blonde actress, Jonathan Pryce and the Royal Marines, and then Helen Mirren did the naming. Quite a few celebs there including Rowan Atkinson (Ploppy suggested I ask him for Oliver tickets). The naming ceremony ended with an amazing fireworks show which went on for over 5 mins. Then we had very good 3 course sit down meal with wine which didn't finish till after 11.00 pm. After which we went to one of the bars and watched a bit of one of the shows - tribute acts, then bed. Early breakfast as all had to be off the Ventura by 9.00 am. Everyone went home with a glass vase as a gift - lovely but weighs a ton!

Mackenzie Crooke is on Jonathon Ross this Friday, presumably talking about Three and Out.

A quick catch up and then better get on with some work.

oooh Diana - sounds just my sort of event!! Karen - I thought for both - I have a lovely bright pink shot with silver, a red white and blue, a white, a black, a purple and a plain red.......Just call me Feathers Christmas!

Karen2,- locking Geri in a drawer isn't bullying! It's self-defence!
So Carol,- where are you off to, then? Just kidding,- can't you see my writing is turning green again. Make sure Auds stays in her seat. I am worried about her!
Carol,- really,- you were on THAT ship? There was a lot of pics in the paper this morning. Glad to hear you had a lovely time.
I had a walk on the beachfront, but it was mostly fighting against the wind. It's very brisk. When I came home I decided to finish planting my pots. I was mixing fertilizer with the soil when a big gust of wind took most of the fertiliser and blew it into my face, my hair and everywhere else but the flaming pot! I have now had a shower and washed my hair, and I don't stink of fertilizer any more. It's time I made some lunch.

Feather boas? See I knew somebody would come up with an idea to keep us warm. Thank you Carol. May I have the purple one please - or will I have to fight for it with all the other purple lovers??

Carol/Auds - so it's the final countdown - how excited are you on a scale of one to ten?

Diana - I saw the Ventura on the news last night. Wow, it looked impressive!

I must tell you about a conversation I had in the office this morning. One of the guys who I now sit near in my new office came over to have a chat and he was looking at my calendar and my glossy 10x8 close up of the GO. He asked me who he was (are there still people out there who don’t know??) so I told him and was, as usual, waxing lyrical and he was studying the picture then he said (and these are his words not mine!) “Nah, he’s too much of a pretty boy, you need a real man”!!!!! I pointed out to him that, having seen the GO in the flesh, semi-naked, I was fairly sure he was almost certainly a real man! I also told him that he was going out with DVO (and yes I did use the initials rather than the full name, I forget loppyspeak doesn’t always make sense in the real word so I had to explain who DVO was) and he said (again his words not mine) “She ain’t all that. I’m sure he’d rather have you any day”!!!!!!!!!! (Well I know that and the GO knows that but we keep it quiet!!). Now, okay I know that he was being extreeeeeeeeeeemly nice to me, but hey it cheered me up no end and sent me off into one of my little fantasies, which is not quite appropriate for the workplace, but it put a smile on my face anyway. Every time I’ve walked past him since then he’s winked at me and started me smiling all over again. People are going to start talking about us soon!

Karen - you little minx you! However as Deputy Chief Lush you may indeed have the purple boa! I'm going to keep the pink and silver one for myself but the others are up for grabs - first come first served! Now only five hours and thirty minutes to go......oooohhhhh - excited, no quite blase really (she lied!). Also have another pink now I think about it, but more baby pink with no silver in it, oh and a turquoise one, which I suspect Fi might nab! Yes, sadly I have a whole box in the loft just full of coloured boas. In my defense I use them on stage.......

ooooooohhhhhhh somebody has an admirer!
( I'm trying to sing that in a teasing voice but it doesn't transfer well to type) watchout Karen, he may just be using you to get close to your calendar!!

Ok, have been in deep (and meaningful) negotiations with the boys about Friday night and this is the latest.
JBJ, DT and RA are quite happy to perform an encore of their dance, and they've also persuaded Johnny Depp and Daniel Craig to join them, through personal contacts I've also got hold of George Cloney and Denzel. So quite a line up, don't you think, I'm hoping there'll be enough boys to have a dance partner for each loppy.

So, I hear you ask, what about BHB and Ramps?
Well they've been practising and I'm allowing them to try out their new act on us as their audience. They now wish to try their hand at Magic Tricks, and before ANYONE says it.....no, I will be the only one permitted to hold the magic wand, unless I feel I need a break and decide to nominate someone to take over. (not likely!)

The only condition I made them promise to when they begged me to let them do magic was that I would get to be their glamourous assistant. So Carol, if you could keep me one of those feather boa's it will be perfect for my costume. I was hoping for the purple but I wouldn't dream of fighting Karen for it.
Oh and Eva, we'll need a dressing room, one will do, we don't mind sharing.

Waving - my computer hard drive is dead so my emails are all lost for now:-( please send me a message to keep in touch and as soon as my computer is fixed I will be back! All important files (GO) are safe thank goodness.

Afternoon, thanks for the oohhmms, I feel better already, just tired. I popped out to get some worming stuff (for the cats, not ploppy and scollops!) and I think the fresh air helped.
Sorry Carol but you can gladly give the boas to the others, remember my phobia about feathers!
Thanks for your suggestions re:my problem, I'm guessing the older kids will be encouraged to go to the park (about 1/2mile away), and only the tinies will be allowed to play there.
Enjoy the show tonight Carol
Oooohhmms being repaid for Shirley and Martin and all those who still need them

Ooo feather boas, I don't mind which colour really, I like pink and turquoise, but if Fi is having the turquoise, did you say ther was another pink one Carol? Please, if not I'll go for the passionate side and have the red!

Karen2 Magic? and you holding the wand...... no I will NOT comment. The entertainment sounds great. If you like I volunteer to get in a box with BHB and then Ramps can make us disappear? I don't mind honestly.

Karen, what a flirt! Mind the man obviously is very discerning!

....and I am happy to be the Loppy Bunny they pull out of the hat - I am quite used to stage work, so feel this is just up my street!
Yes Pauline2 - pink boa is yours! Oh Carys, bad luck, know what it's like when the pooter is playing up and you find yourself in no man's land! By the way Karen2, bags I get to dance with Jonny Depp please or George Clooney.......... Only four hours and a bit to go.............

Four hours to what Carol? Dancing with George Clooney?

Have a great time whatever, and remember the DNA!!

Hi Carys, missed you last night, I popped in quite late and wondered if I'd find you in the Bistro.

omg Carol, you must be squirming in your seat, are you still in work?

...sadly I am still at wxxk, but oddly my brain is elsewhere (well no change there then!). Only 3 hours and a bit to go..........

Whee - only 2 and a half hour and a bit to go and now I am leaving the office! Have a lovely evening everyone (I intend to)!!

Carol - if you are still around, have a fantastic time at the show with Auds - I reckon the count down is now just over two hours!

Oooh good! Do I get to wear my feather boa tomorrow? It's pale blue, not exactly my colour, but at least it's not pink!

Karen - you FLIRT!

Shirley2 thanks for your review! Lucky Loppy!
Shirley - not so lucky Loppy - have some OOHHMMMSS.

Diana, sounds like you had a splendid time last night.

More Ohhhmmmmss for Martin and for Carys's PC (I wondered what had happened to the Night Shift)

Here we are way down a new page already!! Ooohhmms to Shirley and to Martin, Martin you take care of yourelf.

I'm sure it's too late to say have a great evening to our lucky loppies, but they will anyway:))

Work over for the week, but still got loads of things to do. Ploppy has been busy in the garden this week, while he's been off, now he's back to work tomorrow and I'm off, he seems to think it's my turn.

Off to pour a glass of red and relax.

JaneE,- I was going to suggest you-know-which colour for your feather boa, but I've decided to turn over a new leaf, so I won't even mention the word PINK! Ooooops!
Karen,- that guy in the office fancies you!
Karen2,- dressing room? You can have my dressing room! Posh? Me? Of course, the fact that it's only the smallest bedroom that's been filled with wardrobes and bookcases, doesn't stop me from calling it "the dressing room". It sounds so grand!
Other than that, I think the line-up for the corps de ballet (!) sounds very impressive.

Wonder what's going on with Carol. She has the goofiest expression on her face -- almost a rival for Eva's normal one. Oh Eva! Eva DARLING! Mark this date on your calendar: May 14th. That's the day after my last final, first day of freedom, and the day I plan to post the first chapter of the next story. And do I ever have plans for you, Eva my love! Lock me in a drawer all day, will you? Karen2 and Pauline2, you shall be suitably rewarded for my rescue. Nice loppies get lovely parts in stories; mean, wicked loppies get...well, you'll just have to wait and see.

Karen2, never mind this Ramp-vamp, where's Cliff? You haven't forgotten the loppy constitution, have you? Mind you, I won't insist on him balloon dancing. At his age, the man is entitled to his dignity (what's left after the white spandex outfits he wears on stage...)

Diana, Jonathan Pryce and the Royal Marines -- sound appropriate somehow.

Ohms to Martin, Shirley and all our other invalids. Maggie, hope all went well with your mum's admission. Ohhhhmmmmmmm...

Just read Geri's post. I'd like to point out that Geri is a lovely person, and I would never be mean to her or lock her in a draw!

Am I safe come the 14th?

In an hour certain people will be in Loppy heaven!!

May I say thankyou to Geri who is a lovely, clever and very talented person.

Crawl,me.....oh yes, whatever it takes!!

Thank you for all your Ooooohhhhmmmmms and good wishes .This PC was playing up last night so could not get on line, but today it seems ok.
Martin will be seen by the consultant on Friday and I should know more then. When I saw him at midday he was fine but felt like a pin cushion as they are given him a few injections in his tummy.
Mum will have to stay in hospital for a while as she is not to well to move to a home yet.
I started to look for flights to Dublin, but haven’t booked anything yet as phone kept ringing. But there were a lot of flights on the
