NoI Crystal in the house but do have some Bolly! Aunty Eva I am ALWAYS nice to Ploppy! It is part of the training regime you see....makes them really feel happy and then they do nice things like buy you a ticket to see a West End show......In fact he has just poured me a large g&t - see, trained to perfection! Forgot to say in Rome had a g&t where I could only get about a fifth of the tonic bottle into the glass as the rest of it was pure gin - lovely! Karen2 enjoy the bowling. Strangely the only time I have ever been to Dublin there was a hurling final on (August time) and the streets were full of supporters. Didn't stop us visitng the Guiness Museum of the Jameson distillery!

Here’s the next instalment of the Giggle Sisters London Adventure.

And in a breath he was gone! He disappeared into the backstage world of the Adelphi.
We were left; shaking and staring at each other in disbelief.

Lin was unbelievable – OMG, OMG…. He’s so gorgeous. Now I know what you mean!!! Yes Ladies, this is where she crossed the line. (well who wouldn’t)

Hazel was so excited too, he recognised you ! No, he couldn’t have, they agreed, yes he did – there was real recognition there. He recognised you from the scrum. Rewind back to the Wednesday scrum - I asked him if it was ok to video and he said hello to my camera. Well me behind it really …..surely not?

Into the Porterhouse for a nerve calming glass, then off we floated to the front of the Adelphi for our much awaited VIP transfer from December. Knowing there would be lots of Champagne on tap as part of the package, we had invited Hazel (Frandlec) Abs (Anne) and Millie Mollie (Amanda) from LMAS to join us as they were at the show too. The three of us were high as kites and by the time Anne and Amanda joined us. They thought we had downed a fair bit of champers already! Strangely enough we hadn’t; it was Lee love that had us floating!

Lin, Anne and I were shown to our seats in row A of the Dress Circle and I was immediately aware of the young man next to me munching away on sweeties. Gave disapproving look to MMM…. Got glare back. Grrr….
Hazel and Amanda were in the stalls , we gave them a wave – MMM frowned- was not impressed!

And so it began……tension as the announcements were made,,,,phew!
The orchestra struck up, then a big shout as the children ran into the auditorium and onto the stage……...considering this was the eighth time I had seen the show, I was still apprehensive….will he perform? Yes I’d just seen him arrive but you never know. For me, the intensity has deepened with each show.

Butterflies …..….focus on Jenna and the children, strong performance from her, great voice……….….oh dear! can’t keep eyes from that spot……..…there was a tangible air of anticipation all around and then HE appeared. Serene and beautiful, Joseph.
Oh my.! Deep breaths, deep breaths….the theatre erupted with whoops and applause.
Big, big smile right from the start tonight but still seemed to be protecting his voice. Nevertheless, he sounded wonderful and gave a fabulous performance throughout. The whole cast was just as enthusiastic and committed to the performance. Mark played Ruben just as comically as he did on Wednesday.

Munching Minstrel Man (MMM) was really bugging me and I made some obvious glances in his direction to hopefully give him the message that he was disturbing me, all amounted to nothing so when he reached for the bag as the prison bars were lowering down for CED I shifted my weight toward him and without looking at him (coz couldn’t take them off GO) and said please don’t rustle your packet during this. He passed the packet to his girlfriend without a sound. GOOD!

We had an excellent view of the whole stage form the Dress Circle and I can report that Mrs Potifhers handmaidens were VERY frisky hence I am applying for a role of handmaiden. OH! Darn it!!!! Just been told I’ve got to be able to sing, dance and drop 30 years. May have a bit of a problem there!

Although there are benefits from the Dress Circle I would much rather be in the front stalls where you feel a real connection with the performers.

All too soon the megamix began and we were clapping along. To say the D/C audience was sedate would be an enormous understatement. Some were positively comatose! I didn’t feel we could stand as it would have been rude as no one behind us was up. Then what do you know? MMM turned to me and asked me to stop waving my hand in his face! Hmmmmm maybe I was clapping rather enthusiastically!!! I felt like telling him to get a life but resisted and changed the direction.
We stood as the cherry picker descended and stayed on our feet for the curtain calls, slowly some people stood with us but everyone was clapping and looked happy. The lights came up and our lovely butler was waiting at the end of our row to whisk us away to collect our things before escorting us to the scrum. And, that turned out to be rather different than I had previously experienced!

SueX that was fantastic, but I've heard of milking it and this is what you are doing now! Give the rest please, or you might not get an invite to Evas' party on Friday.
(Gosh didn't that sound masterful!!!!)

Oh Suex - wonderful! You're bringing it all back! Sigh!

I perhaps better say goodnight as I had a late night yesterday!

Ok, Ok,this is the last of the milking session!

Lin ( baby loppy – full of new found enthusiasm) kicked into lighting mode and secured us a good spot at the front of the scrum. There wasn’t as much pushing and shoving as we had at the wed show and it didn’t seem very long before Lee appeared looking drop dead gorgeous. Lee remembered us from the stage door and said I could send my thud to him for a ‘proper’ autograph, I went all soppy and forgot everything brain = mush? Yes that was me! Lin told him she had travelled from Edinburgh and his eyes widened “I’ve been there!” he exclaimed and went on to chat to her about the festival. Bless him; he was surprised that she had travelled so far to see him! I moved to the back as some ‘other’ questions were asked and for the first time felt rather uncomfortable scrumming. We had a night cap back at our hotel and spent ages looking at our pics and going over the nights events. Not a wink of sleep was had!
We met my Son and his Fiancée for lunch on Saturday and went to the Peter Doig Exhibition in the afternoon. Brenda and Kirsten had gone to the matinee and joined us for coffee at our hotel afterwards. Kirsten with Ploppy and her two adorable girs and Brenda with a friend from work. Then we got ourselves ready and took off to the Old Vic to see Kevin Spacey and Jeff Goldbloom in Speed the Plow. I must say, KS blew my socks off with a magnificent performance!
Well, we rounded off our adventure standing in the pouring rain watching the Marathon on Sunday morning and planning our next trip in June!

Suex,- you don't half pack it in, do you? All that in a couple of days! I'm impressed, and green with envy.
Karen,- no shed, but there is plenty of room behind the garage. Will that do?

I wonder if anyone can help me with a dilemma? Last year we moved onto a small, new development (40 houses). There is a green area in the centre, fenced all around, landscaped and with a couple of pieces of play equipment. Problem: children playing football there and damaging the shrubs and the ball going over the fence. Half of the residents are parents and feel the kids should be allowed to play football but should be encouraged to respect the area and be a bit more gentle, not easy! Remaining residents want "No ball game" signs erected and would probably prefer not to have any kids out there at all! Solution????
I am torn as both a parent and someone who wants a peaceful relationship with the neighbours. I'm also fed up with kids coming from outside the close and abusing the green and the resident children being blamed. Solution????
This could turn nasty if we don't find a way forward so if anyone can help I'd be very grateful. A residents association has been set up and emails are flying about, but no-one can see how to resolve this.

Oy Karen, not so quick telling the Diva she can have RA all to himself -- I, at least, will do some arm-wrestling to make her share. As to the BHB, well you know his place at the top of our hit parade is secure, though we will always have a special fondness for DT, RA, Danny Boy, Scamps-Tramps-Ramps (oh, you know who I mean), not to mention our dear Scott and Martin. I'll just lift the little blighter (no, not you BHB) up and untangle the buckles. See how easy that was? I'll stash her in a drawer so we can have some peace and quiet. Didn't log on before as had to catch up with all the Apprentice happenings and didn't want to come on here in case it was mentioned before I could watch. Anyway last night's show was fabulous as usual, Lee and the cast looked as if they were loving every minute, very bouncy. Very little dry ice on opening but problems with his mic during CED. Duff note in first verse (cos of mic) then in second verse loud bang and it gave up altogther so he had to finish it all on his own. We were worried he was going to strain his voice but all was well and it was righted by the second act. Full house, no empty seats in stalls that I could see, Lots of applause but no standing until the rise at the end then most people did get up. For reasons I won't go into we didn't stay for the scrum (first time ever)but there's always next time. It was the third time for my friend with another couple booked for her.
Pauline - this was the DE fan - she didn't see This Morning yesterday although I've got a copy she can have but she got really defensive when I started telling her about it(in the nicest possible way) so I think she might be very blinkered but I am honestly interested to know what she thinks of his rendition of GMYAS as I couldn't belive how BAD he was!

Aunty Eva - I'm with both those sentiments, although I am sure incohol should feature in there too. You know my views on jogging already!
Ali - I think the pocket money idea of Pauline's is good - we are in a cul du sac and there is a smal roundabout at one end for turning purposes - the middle of which is a very very small green, but it has never been landscaped and is not big enough to play footie on, but is used by the kids for tennis etc. Unfortunately they also play down the middle of the road, which whilst being fairly safe as we are a cul du sac, is not ideal. Also like you we get "visiting" children too. Its not a major problem and there is a park four minutes away! However, I suspect the parents of the "resident" children like to have them nearby so they can keep an eye on them. Very tricky situation - hopefully someone will have a brainwave!

Last night was amazing, never been to anything like it before. Had a good cabin with outside balcony though ensuite very small. We did a self-guided tour of the ship with stop for afternoon tea which was a meal in itself - the facilities are all topnotch, excellent gym, several restaurants, bars, kids area, spa, at least three pools. The naming ceremony was on one of the top decks - it was freezing! Loads of champagne (the real stuff too) and canapes. They showed a mock James Bond film with Patricia Hodge, Samantha Bond, Peter Firth from Spooks (he also attended) along with the blonde actress, Jonathan Pryce and the Royal Marines, and then Helen Mirren did the naming. Quite a few celebs there including Rowan Atkinson (Ploppy suggested I ask him for Oliver tickets). The naming ceremony ended with an amazing fireworks show which went on for over 5 mins. Then we had very good 3 course sit down meal with wine which didn't finish till after 11.00 pm. After which we went to one of the bars and watched a bit of one of the shows - tribute acts, then bed. Early breakfast as all had to be off the Ventura by 9.00 am. Everyone went home with a glass vase as a gift - lovely but weighs a ton!

I had a walk on the beachfront, but it was mostly fighting against the wind. It's very brisk. When I came home I decided to finish planting my pots. I was mixing fertilizer with the soil when a big gust of wind took most of the fertiliser and blew it into my face, my hair and everywhere else but the flaming pot! I have now had a shower and washed my hair, and I don't stink of fertilizer any more. It's time I made some lunch.

Feather boas? See I knew somebody would come up with an idea to keep us warm. Thank you Carol. May I have the purple one please - or will I have to fight for it with all the other purple lovers??

Diana - I saw the Ventura on the news last night. Wow, it looked impressive!

I must tell you about a conversation I had in the office this morning. One of the guys who I now sit near in my new office came over to have a chat and he was looking at my calendar and my glossy 10x8 close up of the GO. He asked me who he was (are there still people out there who don’t know??) so I told him and was, as usual, waxing lyrical and he was studying the picture then he said (and these are his words not mine!) “Nah, he’s too much of a pretty boy, you need a real man”!!!!! I pointed out to him that, having seen the GO in the flesh, semi-naked, I was fairly sure he was almost certainly a real man! I also told him that he was going out with DVO (and yes I did use the initials rather than the full name, I forget loppyspeak doesn’t always make sense in the real word so I had to explain who DVO was) and he said (again his words not mine) “She ain’t all that. I’m sure he’d rather have you any day”!!!!!!!!!! (Well I know that and the GO knows that but we keep it quiet!!). Now, okay I know that he was being extreeeeeeeeeeemly nice to me, but hey it cheered me up no end and sent me off into one of my little fantasies, which is not quite appropriate for the workplace, but it put a smile on my face anyway. Every time I’ve walked past him since then he’s winked at me and started me smiling all over again. People are going to start talking about us soon!

Karen - you little minx you! However as Deputy Chief Lush you may indeed have the purple boa! I'm going to keep the pink and silver one for myself but the others are up for grabs - first come first served! Now only five hours and thirty minutes to go......oooohhhhh - excited, no quite blase really (she lied!). Also have another pink now I think about it, but more baby pink with no silver in it, oh and a turquoise one, which I suspect Fi might nab! Yes, sadly I have a whole box in the loft just full of coloured boas. In my defense I use them on stage.......

Ok, have been in deep (and meaningful) negotiations with the boys about Friday night and this is the latest.
JBJ, DT and RA are quite happy to perform an encore of their dance, and they've also persuaded Johnny Depp and Daniel Craig to join them, through personal contacts I've also got hold of George Cloney and Denzel. So quite a line up, don't you think, I'm hoping there'll be enough boys to have a dance partner for each loppy.

So, I hear you ask, what about BHB and Ramps?
Well they've been practising and I'm allowing them to try out their new act on us as their audience. They now wish to try their hand at Magic Tricks, and before ANYONE says it.....no, I will be the only one permitted to hold the magic wand, unless I feel I need a break and decide to nominate someone to take over. (not likely!)

The only condition I made them promise to when they begged me to let them do magic was that I would get to be their glamourous assistant. So Carol, if you could keep me one of those feather boa's it will be perfect for my costume. I was hoping for the purple but I wouldn't dream of fighting Karen for it.
Oh and Eva, we'll need a dressing room, one will do, we don't mind sharing.

Martin will be seen by the consultant on Friday and I should know more then. When I saw him at midday he was fine but felt like a pin cushion as they are given him a few injections in his tummy.
Mum will have to stay in hospital for a while as she is not to well to move to a home yet.
I started to look for flights to Dublin, but haven’t booked anything yet as phone kept ringing. But there were a lot of flights on the site I looked on, but I think most of you have already booked but it might help someone .Also must sort out about a passport (as it ran out last year )

It's my birthday on 10 January and seeing Lee that day would have been brilliant but we are in SA and don't get back till the Monday. Gutted. I so wanted to be there on Lee's last night. I can't imagine he'll extend any further. Want to cry but must put it in perspective.

After all that excitement must do some w**k. Got big meeting tomorrow, I've been preparing for days, but had a pre meeting today and got to rewrite most of it. I've spent the last couple of hours on here, so better get to it.

I could have been further forward, but then with restricted view, so I prefered the centre tickets. Spoke to a very nice, young man who was chuckling away. It was manic, he told me.

Thanks very much for the tip off Jane, have just booked a ticket,row R stalls, on-line. I had a bit of a fright as the confirmation said I had 'opted' for print at home ticket, they sent an e-mail and said I could only print ticket ONCE.

After backing out of going next month, Ploppy's just agreed to me booking tickets for us to go together in November. Hopefully will be able to get centre of front row Dress Circle - don't think he'd want to sit in stalls A somehow! But I am going to treat myself to another Row A in December to make up for not going on 10 Jan. Hope you're right and Lee will extend further, Shirley2.

Hello anyone that's left! Maggie lovley to hear from you please give Martin a hug from us. Hope you are bearing up too, so have a hug for yourself. Geri- you probably noticed that I ensured they gave you food and drink?? I too am a great admirer of your work......"always have been, always will be"!!
OK met up with Auds, had a very nice pre theatre dinner (£11.95 for two courses) at Stranded, nice bottle of merlot to wash it down and then trotted along to the theatre. Took our A row seats, lights dimmed, children on, sighted and settled into our seats. Show fantastic tonight - brothers on top form , in fact everyone on top form! No problems with the dry ice for ADWD, on he came to a rousing cheer, big beaming smile as he came forward, and that was me lost for the evening. CED was lovely - not as powerful as on previous occassions but wonderfully poignent. Lots of sweat glistening front and back, and we were so close we could see the hairs on his legs and the stubble on his tummy! Yes, we were there for the culture! Big sigh, oh it was toe tingling! Think I preferred it to the more powerful version truth be known! Talking of culture - flash of the tighty whities when he was on Mrs Potiphar's bed, but he quickly flipped the front of the loin cloth down! Cried at the Benjamin recognition scene and the Jacob reunion. Of it was all so lovely, lovely,lovely! Managed to get the DNA but looks like only enough for me and Auds to get a clone....but we shall see! Did the scrum - not so many people there tonight. Shirley asked me to get two photos signed for raffling in aid of Mildmay, so I asked him very politely and explained what they were for (just in case he had me down as an EBay seller!), and he said to thank everyone for the fantastic job they are doing fundriasing - they need the money and it is such a good cause. Have to say the photos drew lots of comments and admiring glances from the people behind me. Only short review sorry but off to bed to dream of.....I wonder who! Sweet Meads all.

As I may have said before, if the GO is offered an extension I was sure he'd take it as he is obviously still so enjoying playing the role, and in the MT world actually being in full time employment is a big plus! He will need to have some certainty as to what he is going to do next (are you reading new agents?) before he leaves Joe. The whole cast are obviously still all having a total ball - and are committed one hundred percent to each performance. I just sit there with a silly grin on my face, or a tear in the eye depending on where we are at, and could sit there all night. OK so Auds had to prise me out of my seat at the end! It really is a first rate ensemble - you can't fault any one and the GO is just, well, fantastic (but you all knew that!). OK better waft off on my little pink fluffy cloud and do some wxxk (fortunately both bosses out, so I can spend some time day dreaming and reliving the moment). Someone really should be able to market that smile (sighs deeply and goes off into fantasy land!). Forgot to say there were some Loppies (including Ro) in the front row with us! We all stood at the end (I mean all as in entire audience!).

If Phantom2 is Sept next year I can see at least one more extension of a couple of months (providing the show iteself is still OK and audiences dont drop off - with the credit crunch who knows), I dont think the tickets for June to Oct 08 even are going as quickly as before and Oct to Jan is difficult financially for people although you do have Christmas outings etc. I can't see a concert tour being a certainty, look what happened to Connie.

I know Shirley2, I did say wishful thinking!! Think a concert tour would probably depend on the second album being well received, but I am determined to live in hope!

Right, you ladies. You know how to keep me busy. The house is of course shining, but I doubt you will notice. What with balloon dancing and exciting guests, my dust (or lack thereof) will be the last thing on your mind. I have even tidied up the garage. Old leaves brushed outside, Mrs. Bosch covered with a nice tablecloth (I want to spare her the sheneenigans going on later), coloured bulb in the lamp, no heating I'm afreaid, but I don't think you'll need it, plenty of sharp tools to prick the balloons with (in case someone has forgotten her pencil!). White wine in the fridge, red wine taken from my secret wine cellar, whisky, gin, vodka, plenty of tonic. I'm counting on Jill to replenish my cellars!
Then I've made a lovely, spicy soup to heat things up a bit! Cubed lamb, butternut squash, tomatoes, chickpeas, onions, garlic, chili paste, ginger and lemon juice, - all simmered nicely in a chicken broth for 1 1/2 hours. Together with all the tidbits you are going to bring, I think we'll have a nice spread.

Talking of work, I informed boss that I was going to Dublin in September and discovered we have a wedding reception booked that weekend, the first one we've ever had! Boss not happy, and normally I let the disapproving looks and remarks make me feel guilty, but not this time. I regularly bend over backwards for them and take up the slack for the younger staff so I decided they can jolly well cope without me for once.
Doubt I'll be able to get back before Sunday evening, so have a great weekend everyone and wishing you a speedy recovery Martin.

Well, interesting news about Lee extending until Jan! I don't know how many times I can say to my parents 'well this will probably be the last time I go!' Think I will plan my next visit (after my August one) for just after Christmas as I really enjoyed going then last year! I like to go every three-four months if I can. (Actually I would go every three -four days if I could!!) After I saw the show back in March I felt so empty as I didn't have a Joseph to look forward to. So I just HAD to book to go again - 18 weeks is a long way off but its nice to have something to look forward to especially as its ROW B!! Oh well, thank goodness its Friday - I look forward to lunch time so that I can come online but during the afternoons its pretty tortuous knowing that I can't join in the fun!

Hello, just posted on Donna's forum about Lee extending. The booking period is now until January 10, 2009...but Lee could be contracted for longer than that. None of us will know as those things are not made public. They are only selling until January 10th, as that is the latest booking period. But if those tickets sell out they could open up another bunch of tickets. Since none of us know Lee's contract deal, don't be surprised. Just watch SEE tickets and for additional possible dates to open.

Booking periods and actors contracts are two different things. Shows sell in blocks of tickets (booking period) and they only open them if a show is doing well extending to a longer time period. Usually it is groups of three month intervals. So this could be the start of more dates opening. I do not now anymore than all of you. Just giving you my thoughts as I have seen this with Phantom. People in the US thought the show was closing becuase the booking period ended at a certain time.:lol: But they just do not sell further unless the show sells well. Now Phantom has been going on for 20 years in the US and 21 in the UK. I doubt JOSEPH will go on that long. As long as their is a demand and they are not using that theatre for another show it can go longer.

Well I only go away for one night come back home and see Lee has extended again, Quickly phoned See and have got 2 tickets Row R 11 AND 12, for the evening.
It has taken us 3 hours to unload the car, you wouldn't believe Eva what the Ladies have brought back, mind you I won't mention any names but one CASE was drunk on the journey back from france.

Thought I’d wait until today to put my review on the blog – not quite as tantalising as Suex’s I have to admit, but something for you read through that haze of the hangover you should all have from last nights party.
Heck, you’ve left poor Eva’s house is a helluva state. As Loppies don’t do h**w**k, she never going to do ‘open house’ again I bet. But WHAT A PARTY!!! Here, let me help with the cleaning up. But first, a need a big mug of black coffee – straight please, no frills.

I can’t remember what happened last night.. there I was partying away, getting elbowed out of the scrum (nothing unusual there) for the balloon dancing, but everything after that is a blank [puter melt down] so very pleased to be able to get back here now.

OK, so here goes. Carol was very kind last night, and didn’t let on about my little set-back, but I have to tell..
Let me start by reminding you of my track record with tickets. Having diligently placing my ticket, in it’s special plastic wallet, into my handbag the night before and checking again in the morning before setting out that all was safe and sound.. check.
Left work on schedule, got to the Strand to find Carol waiting patiently, and headed straight to the little eaterie. After having finished a delicious Italian (meal - ladies) and a tasty bottle of red, I confidently reached into my bag to get the ticket ready to hand to the usher. Not as easy to hand as I thought. I wasn’t too worried because I knew the ticket was there.. However after having all the contents of my bag laid out on the table, all pockets emptied... it was official. NO TICKET!

I began to think that I was definitely on my way to the Loony Bin. As always the ever sensible Carol became ‘Shirley’ for a bit at the ticket counter to ensure her ditzy friend was allowed in without the ticket. Carol, are you sure you’re not “Flash Gordon” in disguise?
“Flash, Ahhh ahh. Saver of the Universe!! And careless loppies.”

Well, I was swept away again and was wriggling in my seat with anticipation once again. I’ve grown accustomed to Row A I feel. The perfect DNA zone, although being a little more to the right of the Conductor than I’m used to this time, but what the heck. It’s perfect for checking on stubble, sweat and anything else that might be of interest (I still felt that my binos would have been put to good use, but fortunately as I didn’t bring them I wasn’t able to show myself up). Besides being so close you can’t help but make eye contact with the performers which makes it that much more exciting – like you can ‘clap’ them personally. And it was a great audience too… I didn’t notice any malfunctions/slip ups etc, oh but this time I did hear the ‘giggle’ loud and clear – just when he’s being encouraged to dance in the calypso number… and he starts to get into it.
As always, it was over too soon. The scrum was very quiet in comparison with other times when I’ve been – so I wasn’t jostled too badly. Still didn’t manage to get a decent photo (that may be something to do with my skills there) however I did concentrate on videoing the event – to make sure that I got him signing the photographs – so I have a some fairly decent footage [that desperately needs editing.. Gillian!!! Help] but I was zoomed in on THE face that I didn’t actually get Carol or the signing on the screen. Oh well. I shall see if I can download it this morning and perhaps Gillian – if I email it to you you’ll be able to work your magic on it? Is that possible? So, I do look forward to the next time.

Off for the weekend to visit my Cloppy friend in Hertfordshire. So I have all the cd’s dvds etc., packed and ready for another show.

Oh, while I’m here – my thoughts on him extending.. (apart from Yay) have the same suspicion as Pauline – ALW keeping him working until P2 is ready for release. And I do hope they have increased his package (ahem) with each extension. Goodness knows he making a rich man even richer – or at least the Adelphi could be refurbished twice over by now with the profits this past year (she says like she knows all about accounting??). And whilst Connie’s tour was postponed, to be blunt, she doesn’t really have the fan base to generate ticket sales – but if Lee did a tour after he finished in Joe, I think they could safely assume it’d sell out wherever it went. Also, it would give him time to put together another album or two….

Oooh, who watched JR last night? BIANCA can really sing – and I wish we could have heard more from her. She was playing along with JR about being Nancy. They were taunting the BBC to put her and Syd onto IDA... That would definitely make interesting viewing.

Oooh, and another Oooh! By very very very kind favour of Diana (or Diana’s ploppy) I’ll be the 3rd Loppy at the premiere Monday night doing all that celebrity spotting. Must make sure my camera is fully charged.

And that’s my tuppence-worth for the day. Don’t expect to be back until late Sunday now – so all have a good weekend. Oooohhhhmmmms for all in need – Martin and Maggie, these OOOHHHMMMSSS especially for you.

Now where's the mop and bucket I'll wash the kitchen floor for you Eva, no it's not h.......k, BHB is here helping. Must get on as have to get round to Sloppy as her gardener is coming if the weather holds. Hope it does as the lawn looks like a meadow at the moment!

Ooohhhh, my tickets have come for Jan as well. Ok it might not be the real last night, who knows. We can still have fun. There have been several comments on LMAS about being 'conned'. No one has to buy tickets. But I'm with AliB on this one. She said several months ago, something about, it would be good to see him in something else. But whatever it is (and I don't really mind) we won't see so much of him (that is a paraphase for decency). I would like to add that I like the singing, the dancing the show, I also like the 'view'. A woman at work (who is not 40 yet) said to me yesterday, she has a friend who is 50 'she is terrible', we were talking about watching balloon dancing at the time, so maybe it's an age thing. Just remembered AliB is no where near 'that age', so maybe not.

Wow ! that was a night like no other,spent in the Tardis with DT - I'll just say I went places I've never been before and leave it at that!

Still reeling loppy here. Not just Eva's party (thank you so much dear hostess) . Mama was wrong, that is the way to have fun. Premiere induced insomnia. Thanks for the info Diana, I sent an e-mail reply but it was bounced back, it says the fault is a permanent error!

Oh ladies, I have had a traumatic morning. May I please take some ohms from the bank for my ploppy. He was fixing the guttering on the conservatory this morning and he fell off the ladder. He fell onto a pile of stone blocks and the ladder came crashing down on top of him. He's okay, nothing broken but he's a bit battered and bruised. Bashed one shin on the stone, got the other shin trapped in the ladder, banged his elbow and ripped part of his fingernail off. Fortunately there were two men working in next doors garden so they came to the rescue and helped get him in the house. So he's now laid on the sofa with a mug of hot sweet tea, but I think we're both still in a state of shock.

Sorry Martin, not as bad as what you've been suffering from and poor Maggie and her mum. Love to all of you.

On a lighter note, I wonder if the BHB fixes guttering as well as mending fences - you would think ploppy could have finished the job before practising his diving technique wouldn't you.

Better go give him some TLC, poor love.

Karen, that's awful. Your Ploppy's come off quite lightly, could have been very serious. I think you need something for the shock too - oh she's already got one.

I was in Sainsbury's this morning and all of sudden it went dark. The shop had a power cut caused by their electrical board blowing up! Their generator kicked in so I was able to finish my shopping but they weren't letting anyone else in. South Africa is experiencing lots of power cuts at present (they call it load shedding - Auds, why?) but didn't expect it to happen here.

Oh Karen - that's terrible! I always get palpitations when Ploppy goes up a ladder (but then I'm not too keen on heights anyway!). Always remember going round to my parents and finding my 80 year old dad up on the roof sorting out a slipped ridge tile!!! Martin - fret not your single malt still awaits you, and excellent news that they are releasing you for good behaviour (or would that be evicting you for bad behavior?). Hope Maggie is coping with all this stress - hugs for both of you. Also lots of oooohhhhhhhmmmmmsss for everyone else that needs them! Thank you all for your kind concern. I agree Geri and Shirley that he should have gone to A&E and I did try to persuade him but he insisted he would be fine. I did check though that he hadn't hit his head as I know how serious that can become. I recall many years ago my dad had a fall and did hit his head, the hospital said he wasn't concussed but told us to keep a close eye on him and if he fell asleep and we couldn't wake him, to send for an ambulance immediately which, of course, had us worried no end and the poor man just wanted to rest, as you do after a shock, but everytime he closed his eyes either my mum or I prodded him to make sure he hadn't slipped unconcious. Anyway, ploppy has rested since this morning and I've just run him a warm bath to ease those aching limbs. I think the shock is sometimes worse than the actual injuries, we were both trembling! I shall keep my eye on him though. Thanks again for your kind words.

Karen-I'm glad you're being a good nurse. Just watch out for delayed swelling/pain. (After I fell last saturday it wasn't too bad, but yesterday my side was quite painful. It's going off now, but I didn't ride today as I thought it might pull a bit.) Next time you'll have to get someone in to do the fixing, might cost more but you won't have to do nursing afterwards! I hope he feels better soon.

From comments above (and on the BBC blog) sounds like Ashley and Kaisha may be in the sing off, but we shall see. Hope Martin is safely home and tucked up and that Maggie's mother is better, also Karen's Ploppy hasn't suffered any lasting effects! Lots of ooooohhhhhhmmmmmsss for the sick and poorlies! Morning everyone - can hear the birds chirping outside the window - so am assuming it's not raining (haven't drawn the curtains yet to look!). Hope all the sick and poorlies (and Ploppies and Sloppies, aunts, uncle etc.) are all feeling better - an eztra ooooohhhhhmmm for you too Jo. Busy day today as church this morning and rehearsal this afternoon - did the irxxxng yesterday .....before I knew I could have sub-let to Karen's poorly Ploppy! Our tv has gone on the blink - we can have digital with the sound cranked up to maximum and still only just be able to hear (or in Sloppy's case not hear at all), or terrestrial with sound but a fuzzy picture...... Does the BHB do tv repairs do we know?? Oh there he is busy in the kitchen, I'll go and lend him a hand and have a quiet word with him!

Hello sweetheart. Of course you can brighten up any day. No evening job today, then? Well, befrore you go off to unknown pastures, please will you give me my leaded and some scrambled eggs. No, no smoked salmon this morning. I think I had an iffy slice of it last night. It was in a salad, so I wasn't really aware until I had swallowed it. My tummy feels a bit "uncertain" this morning, so I'll have to go easy on the food.
Pailine2's remark about Spiderman reminded me of a story from when my lovely nephew, Erik, was 3-4 years old. At that time they lived in a flat in my parents house, and one day my father met Erik on the stairs. Erik was dressed in his pyjamas bottoms and had a large towel draped over his shoulders. "Ah", said my father,"are you playing being a bride",(thinking the towel was a veil). Erik looked mortally offended and said"I'm Superman!!!".

Re IDA - I can't find an outright favourite either and am very tempted to put on an ADWD disc - although I do like the show as a show it doesn't have any excitment and I think waiting till tonight for results does take away something. Although I dont like Ashley much I did feel sorry for her when ALW was so damming. He definitely doesn't like her voice and if she's in the bottom 2 it will be curtains, poor girl. Jessie was my favourite but now I'm aware of the mouth corners I notice it all the time so gave gone off her a bit! Jodie & Sarah look too well fed and not vulnerable enough (Jodie would clock BS one if he laid a finger on her). Cant make up my mind about Fran, Nimah too much like a pop star and not a mother to all the urchins which leave Keisha (NO) - Samantha and Rachel I just cant warm too - oh dear what a pity Nancy Nancy went off to the streets of Paris. So I suppose its back to Jessie mouth corners and all..

Shirley2- what a reasoned and logical disposal of possible Nancy's for this time in the morning. I'm not 100% behind you re Jodie, as I've seen interviews with women on tv who have suffered violence from their partners for years. Some seemed to be strong (mentally and physically) in other parts of their life, just seemed to be under their partners control at home. So for me it depends on her acting skills. I do have concerns over Jessie in this area too.

I had the oddest dream last night. Sometimes I dream whole stories and they're often like nothing I'd think of writing; last night's dream was one of those. It was about a group of friends sometime in the 1930s, a very Noel Coward sort of group. It was complicated with all sorts of partner swapping going on, and silly pranks being played. Anyway, some stranger came and told one of those 'silly ass' types of chaps that he needed a letter of introduction to some government bigwig. He was supposed to get it from one of the other men who was away. So this young man decided to do his friend a favour and wrote the letter of introduction. Only shortly afterwards his friend came back and it transpired that the fellow looking for the letter was a spy, and the letter would allow him entree into government secrets. So the man who wrote the letter, afraid he had inadvertently committed treason, went off and shot the 'spy', only to find the whole thing was just a prank and he had killed someone unnecessarily...
It's a strange place, the inside of my head. You don't suppose it's too much studying, do you?

Shirley2 that is how I feel about Sarah. I think she has a terrific voice but she just looks too well fed and contented to me. That's why she didn't me away. I know Jodie is too but she does have a rough edge to her that I think can overcome that.

Jo4 - interesting your comment re Jodie and battered wives. If her acting can show a vulneable terrified side she could do it for me, but is she too well fed. I just liked her from the start (after Nancy Nancy) but what with the acting and now the mouth 'I just dont know' (as in 'who that man will be')

Shirley2-It's a pity, but I don't remember Nancy Nancy. About the too well fed bit. My mum's dad died when she was 5, in the 30's money was really tight. I have a picture of my mum was she was about 7, a very chubby girl. Also later in the war when rationing was making people eat better than now, mum was still a chubby teenager. So I can live with the look. I can understand your view though.

Just watched IDA while doing the I word. Dresses much better this week all round and enjoyed the Nancies & Olivers joint performance.
Jodie - good performance though not quite as good as last week, like her, definite potential Nancy
Samantha - better than last week but disagree with John, thought she was a bit shouty
Ashley - I'm not keen on her voice - agree with Andrew's comments. Weakest person for me tonight
Niamh - very good. Wasn't keen on her at first but liking her more every week. Still don't think she's right for Nancy but she's got a future
Keisha - better this week and probably deserves to stay another week
Jessie - another very good performance though agree about her mouth and not sure about her acting skills
Sarah - like the darker hair but glad she didn't go really dark. Very very good, definite contender
Francesca - her best performance so far I think and didn't play with her hair so much
Rachel - yes she's good but she doesn't move me and that song should have. She's missing something for me, maybe too polished, not sufficiently raw

So in no particular order it's Jessie, Sarah and Jodie for me. Weakest Ashley and Samantha.

Jo4 - Nancy Nancy was in the 2 audition week shows. She could sing, act, was from the East End so had the accent and for me had the whole lot, including the look, slim, blond scraggy hair a vulnerability, rawness and a 'story' (her Dad had taught her to sing and he had died when she was 10). She was offered the part of Eponine(?) in Les Mis during Nancy School - although that wasn't mentoned - she just got the tap on the shoulder from JB. You oculd tell she was waiting for it and she wasn't at all upset as Graham spoke to her after, as you wouldn't be going into such a great show. She was definitely my fav during the auditions and then Jessie but Jessie's got a long way to go.
Geri - what an amazingly complicated dream. You must have quite a mind!

Had a long and lovely talk with my niece and my sister. Very good news on the home front. My niece's brand new husband just got his application for residency approved, and in record time, and his work permit is also in the bag. It's all smiles and happy whopping in Norway today. Actually he learned these facts on Thursday which was his birthday. The best birthday present yet.
I talked to my other sister last night, and I rang at 7pm Norwegian time. She casually told me she and her husband was sitting in the garden, sunning themselves while having a BBQ !!! This is Norway we're talking about. The weather over there was absolutely beautiful, and she said it was so good for once to be the one telling ME about warm and lovely weather when it's usually the other way around!

Thank you so much for all your lovely birthday wishes for yesterday. Unfortunately I had no chance to log on at all - it has been a strange couple of days.

I went and saw Jo on Friday and we had a wonderful time, but in the early hours of Saturday morning we got a phone call to say my aunt had died, so from then on it wasn't such a good birthday. These things happen unfortunately and I was very worried about my mum, but she's being very stoic about It. I was relieved that we had at least managed to get her down to Dorset for those few days so that she could at least see her sister. I think when she saw how poorly she was then she more or less resigned herself to it happening.

To return to Friday , my ploppy took me to see Jo on Friday as a birthday treat. It was great as usual, and Lee was wonderful but he had a bit of a problem at the end of CED. It was on the last but one line, when he sings 'I have been promised', and his voice soars up so strongly(makes my toes curl thinking about it) he seemed to have problems with the word promised and cut it short. But he finished it as wonderfully as ever.

My ploppy is one of those people who winces if anyone sings a bum note. He is a fan of Lee's and has listens to his songs from ADWD and his album a lot in fact every time he comes in my car, or drives it (he's got a convertable so we often use mine if we go anywhere and as it is my car it is my choice of CD) As soon as Lee had sung ADWD, ploppy whispered to me that his voice sounded slightly different as if he had a cold or something.

Apart from the problem with CED, Lee's performance was as flawless as ever but I was using my binoculars (we were in row C of dress circle) and I noticed that in the second half he looked very flushed, and I've never noticed that before. Two spots of colour high on those lovely cheekbones as if he were running a slight fever. Was thinking he might have caught Denise's bug, but was determined not to be off sick again. We all know he is a really dedicated guy.

In front of ploppy was a sweet little girl who seemed very excited. She told us she was in the children's choir, she does 3 days a week. Her dad added that she had never seen Joseph as a member of the audience before and she was really looking forward to it. She did chatter rather a lot during the show but not too loudly and we forgave her for that in the circumstances.

Ploppy looked at the scrum and said mind if we don't go there (I was hoping to get my calendar signed and had it in my bag) He did say that no doubt I had a number more visits planned with my loppy friends that he didn't know about as yet. (True!!) He also said he'd like to see it again. He's 6ft 4 and found the seats in row C of the dress circle very tight. I think this is the perfect excuse to book seat in row A of the stalls if I can get them don't you?

I will try and catch up with the plethora of posts here I skimmed through them but no more than that.

Lots of cards yesterday, none from Lee yet, but he is very busy. By the way he was kind enough to wear the shorter loin cloth for me on Friday, which made the Mrs Potiphar bed seen rather more interesting.

Think I might emigrate to norway Eva - weather here drizzly and grey. "Dreich" as we would say in Highlands - where we got a lot of dreich days.

Forgot to say - well done Vali, diana and Auds getting tickets to premiere - enjoy.

IDA - am sorry but just dont "get" jessie. Good voice but have noticed her mouth from beginning and very offputting + really feel she gets same type of song every week and she does same performances and we have seen no real acting ability from her. Love Niamh, who I think is only one with similar "stillness" that BK recognised in GO but agree that she may not be nancy but she is still great. Like sarah too.

Must say I wouldn't be suprised if Lee has caught DVOs' bug. There seem to have been one or two comments about his voice being a bit different. I just hope he is sensible and does miss a show or two and get it right. We don't want any damage to that gorgeous voice now do we!

I tried to book centre of Row A DC for the rescheduled visit with Ploppy but was told these were premium seats for special guests and decided it wasn't worth paying extra so got Row B centre instead. Wasn't aware of that, was anyone else?

Based on what we saw in first 2 episodes, I agree about Nancy Nancy, Shirley2. If she had stayed, IDA could have been a whole different show. Might think about going to see Les Mis later in the year as I've only been once years ago and would be intrigued to see Nancy.

Thanks for the Passover good wishes. It does make grocery shopping a headache because we're not supposed to eat anything that rises (I'll wash your dirty minds with carbolic -- stop it!) I mean stuff like wheat, rice, corn & so on. Very difficult since they're ingredients in almost everything. I usually exist on a diet of eggs and salad for the duration.

Deanna, much commisserations on your aunt's passing. I'm sure it must be very hard on your mother, however stoic she seems. Glad you enjoyed the show & your plan to give your ploppy front row seats is lovely -- but I have to admit, I'm glad I won't be sitting behind him! Theatres ought to have the opposite of booster seats -- something that lowers the seat of a very tall person so they're no higher than anyone else!

I have been home now for a couple of hours (Bliss, home sweet home)
was feeling fine then read an E-mail from an acquaintance, one of those that make leap out of your skin (they didn't know about my visit to hospital) my heart is still on the ceiling.
Maggie now tucked up in bed (eventually) and me sitting and relaxing.

First time I had it was at Holyrood House reception (Northern equiv of Buck Hse reception) and when you mentioned it this morning jane e it brought back memories of going there with my parents many years ago but it def was not of the LI kind - Jo4 they obviously thought it safer not to serve alcohol to the fiery (ie lush) Scots. Dont normally have iced tea (of any sort) N of border - unless you leave your cup of tea standing outside for a couple of minutes:)

Really liked Niamh, she grows on me more each week, I know she is young but she'd make a very different Nancy. Also liked Sarah and Jodie very much. Jessie, liked her a lot in the first 2 shows but her performance doesn't seem to change from week to week. Samantha, not sure JB actually helped her, he restored her confidence but her performance did nothing for me. Both girls were ok but didn't see anything special in them, sorry. Francesca and Rachel again were ok but I don't think either should win. Keisha and Ashley would be my choice for the sing off, I don't think Ashley moves well enough, she seems awkward, but I think she sings better than Keisha. My choice for Nancy at this stage would be Niamh.
Have to say I love Gwion - "I've got a wedgy!" priceless!!

Finally, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARTIN, you honestly didn't think Maggie wouldn't tell did you?

It's good to be back, always new my wife couldn't be trusted, yes I'm 35 today and yes it's nice to be out and at home, my eldest and his partner have just left, and I'm sitting very quietly on my own, and yes I do have a drink.

As usual Maggie being the worrier stayed up after she finished work this morning, till I got home cooked my lunch and then went to bed, so I am leaving her as long as possible before she goes to work again tonight, which she is also worrying about (leaving me on my own) I can't move for the cotton wool.
I'm fine and if you have any pics, send them, it doesn't take long and if i sit doing nothing I will be climbing the walls.

I never thought I would say this, but I hope they will let me back to w**k within a couple of weeks or I'll go Doolally.

I want Jodie’s dress and collar from Viva Las Vegas. Not the song for Niamh, Jodie did well, Jessie not so good, Fran good, Ashley not enough push for the opening, Sarah did well it suited her. Others did not stand out as good or bad.
I’ll be there-Olivers, who thought this would be good song for them? Lead boy did good.

Fran and Ashley in the sing off. I think it should have been Keisha and Ashley. Ashley started Whistle down the wind poorly. Fran seemed to give it more feeling with more depth in her voice. Ashley seems to do some odd arm flapping to indicate emotion. ALW saves Ashley, mad, mad.

One thing I will say about all the young girls left in the nancy competition is that scollop says he might like to go and see Oliver - and I dont think it is the olivers he wants to see:). Touch of the young Debbie Reynolds about Sarah, what a trouper, so much in such a small package, love that voice. Jodie has grown on me week by week too, a charming naturalness that is not changed by all the stagecraft she is learning.

I was surprised ALW didn't boot out Ashley because twice now he's said she has a boring voice. But there were a lot of camera shots on Keisha tonight and she was highlighted quite a bit. They're determined to keep her in the running but I can't believe it's because of her talent. By the way, ZT in the print edition of The Stage suggests Jodie should put on weight and take a role in Hairspray next year.

Dash I was watching and missed GO, always happens as for pooter I sit about 16ft away from 14inch TV and with my reading glasses on can't focus on screen. Message to self - pull finger out and set up wireless conection so can use pooter in room with the larger TV.

well I've been watching the Baftas and recorded FW to watch tomorrow night. I do find some of the choices very strange, though admittedly I don't know a lot of the nominations. It almost seems to me they like picking things just to cause an upset! However Eileen Atkins did win Best Actress for Cranford so they do have some sense!

Just to enlarge a bit on what I said earlier, I was just staggered that ALW didn't get rid of Ashley. I know that Francesca isn't everyones cup of tea, well I think she would have gone in the next two weeks anyway, and I liked her! But Ashley was the weakest for me this week and it wasn't as though she particularly shone in the sing off. After what ALW said about her voice you'd think he'd want rid!! Very odd.

Morning all. Another grey day. Well, as I'll be sat here most of the day waiting for someone to come and change my gasmeter, I don't really care. I had a letter from The National Grid, no less, telling me that my gas meter had come to the end of it's natural life (Their expression, not mine), and it was time to install another. They wanted my presence in the house on 21st April from morning to night. I rang a phone number given in the letter asking at what time I could expect them, but got short shift. They couldn't or wouldn't tell me. So I'll be stuck her, twiddling my thumbs, until it suits them to turn up! It's funny,- I didn't have any particular plans for today, but now that I'm stuck in the house, I can suddenly think of many things I'm dying to do away from the house. Prats!

Hi all, got loads of the 'h' word to do today, until 3.00pm at any rate, when I'm off to the station to meet a fellow loppy. Really must do some house stuff today, as at work tomorrow and Wednesday and out again definitely Tuesday evening, and maybe wednesday, and ploppy gets back Wednesday late. Also the friends I'm out with Tuesday may come in for coffee as they're transporting me, and I need to have a house fit to be seen. Unfortunately, theirs always is!!

Played golf twice this weekend, and boy do my legs know it!! Still we were very lucky with the weather, Saturday we managed to play between the longer periods of rain, and Sunday the sun actually came out once the mist cleared. Played a match at a club the other side of Guildford, up on the hills, lovely views, and sunshine to boot:))

Only just popping in because guess what! I'm going to the three and out premier too.
My son got given tickets for the premier for him and his girlfriend and he's given them to me - he is such a treasure. Off out now to buy something new to wear. I'll look out for Diana, Auds and sorry in my exctement I've forgotten who else is going.

Eva I just hope the Gas man turns up, we have our Boiler serviced by them and the appointment was from 12-6, come 6 no Gas man, when I phoned to complain the Manager told me he wasn't even given the job, despite it being booked about 5 weeks previous, the appointment was then booked in for 3 weeks later, somebody did turn up, but the mechanic told me he was only given the job 10 mintes before he turned up,so it looks as though I was lucky he turned up at all.

Aunty Eva - I blush modestly!! Oh Deanna how lovely for you - what a wonderful Scallop! Boss just been told he has to attend a meeting in Amsterdam tomorrow morning (9 am) ...so I am busy trying to find flights. He then has to be in Manchester on Wednesday morning, so it's a fun itinerary! Well you know I always liked Francesca! Think that was a big mistake by ALW! Better go back to my travel agent duties! What did we do before the internet!!

Well, that was painless. The gas man has been and gone. It took him 10 minutes to do the job. I was so pleased to see him that I offered him a mug of tea! I do know how to make a proper mug of English tea now, even if I don't touch the stuff myself!

Carol,- I find I'm enjoying ADWD so much that I'll watch to the end of disc.1 before I return to the real world and do some h******k. Suddenly I don't feel the need to go out. Maybe it's because I can? Very contrary, I know.

Did manage to watch the IDA results show. I thought ALW was going to get rid of Ashley - based on the sing off alone I thought Francesca should go - her range of expressions seemed very limited to me and I thought Ashley really nailed it but with ALW saying his did not like her voice thought she was history. I wonder how strategic he is being - could he have kept Ashley in to protect Keisha who he clearly does like a lot? He could have other plans for Francesca altogether - I never could see her as Nancy.

Glad your gas fitter arrived Eva, I hate that they wont give you at the most a 2 hour time slot. Having run a time depent business it very certainly can be done. More work for the organiser but in the end it is far more efficient because you are able to schedule appointments in a sensible sequence rather than wasting so much time travelling.

Martin, now lovely to see that you are home. Hope all goes well - and just go with the cotton wool until they start feeling confident in your health again - after all it is because they love you. Here endeth the sermon.

Watched IDA when I got home from the pub last night and couldn't believe ALW saved Ashley. I thought maybe my incohol soaked mind had made me misunderstand, but no! Very strange given his previous comments.

Have to add my views on the IDA result, not really sorry to see Francesca go, but I do wonder why ALW chose her after his comments to Ashley? I guess he thinks he will have the opportunity to get rid of her in the next couple of weeks. I really do think Keisha should go though. Kwayedza has a great voice, a definite "mummy moment".

In fact I had to use my renewed 1st Aid skills tonight, youngest scollop managed to cut his forearm and needed it dressing. He was being chased by a girl who kept trying to kiss him!!! Of course he can't do anything now as he can't use that arm, although strangely enough he managed to open a bar of chocolate! Eldest scollop has now just informed me he has had a fight with another lad while playing football after school. We have always taught him not to retaliate in situations like that, but he said he is fed up of walking away and letting the other person get away with it so this time he turned round and punched him back, oh dear! I can see where he is coming from but I'm sure the other boy will not let it drop, he doesn't like to be shown up in front of his mates and will probably be out for revenge. The joys of parenthood eh?
Fortunately middle scollop is so laid back I rarely have to worry about him!
Better go and sort out some food, it's been another gorgeous day here so cold meat, salad and new pots I think. Back sometime tomorrow I hope.

Hello I is been awhile but it is such glorious weather here with lots of sunshine and very mild temp. that I have been out and about for the last couple of days.
I have seen that Joseph is extended and the ticket sale is already started. Well I won’t be going to this last night (to expensive after 18-oct and Christmas) and better so because the best seat are already gone.
I hope you all have great seat for the 10th Jan. I am secretly hoping for another extension though.

After watching IDA I still like Jody. I did like Jesse but like some of you I am now very aware of here crooked mouth. Very annoying. Niamh is growing on me. I don’t see here as Nancy but I think she is pretty good with a special look.

There are quite some loppies going to the premiere!! I hope they will soon report back and tells us all about the soundtrack.

Anne - hi good to see you again. I too decided not to go on jan 10th - very tempted but Jaloppy starting to get very pibbed off. Thought about buying 2 as a surprise for his birthday following week but thought might not be the most welcome surprise.

Weather glorious here. Thats because I was wearing my winter dress and boots - but ones with killer heels. Was striding out late for a meeting when totally unknown guy came up to me in street and told me I looked great!!! Same boots that i wore on first day back at this job (and not since) and got asked out for coffee.

Ok just off to see what outfit I can wear tomorrow to go with my boots:)
