As we limber up to decide on Saturday whether to support Jodie, Jessie or Samantha, I caught up with the very busy Zoe Tyler, who has been diligently reviewing I’d Do Anything for The Stage’s weekly print edition throughout this series.
I also met up with John Byrne, our resident agony uncle, to discuss the options available to young performers who may have felt inspired to turn their hand to the performing arts. And, for those young boys who already have sufficient skills, we have news of the castings for Dodger and the rest of Fagin’s gang (who also play the workhouse boys at the start of the show).

She mentioned coming to Ireland for Master classes - how do you find out about those? Does she have her own website?
Well.Last night was certainly a night to remember. I am pleased for Jodie that she is Now Nancy. I thought this night would never come,when the whole series started,but now i realize it just has :( . I thought Jodie deserved the role,as well as being excellent at all the auditions,also because she was the oldest out of ALL the twelve Nancies to begin with.So she would,ve need this Fantastic oppitunity. I was getting very tense when the winning Nancy was about to be announced and had to wait for almost 1 minute. I was also very surprised to see all the 9 former Nancies who have been out in the last couple of weeks,particullary Amy,Cleo and Tara as they where the first three to be out who i quite vaguely remember being on TV. It was good to see them all back again on TV and happy again after being turned down. And seeing their auditions from the past going back in time was quite heart-breaking. Anyway WELL DONE to Jodie who is now Nancy but also well done to all the other Nancies in the final. Now the search is over,and the series has ended,I miss IDA badly. GOSH! THOSE 12 WEEKS SURE WENT FAST ALL RIGHT!
