Well, we’re only a few days away from the start of the Strictly Come Dancing 2009 series. And if the anticipation wasn’t enough for you already, above we have a great promo clip, supplied by our lovely friends at the BBC, showing some of the celebrities in rehearsal and excerpts from their initial interviews.
As usual, we’ll be keeping an eye on the entire series here on TV Today — and this year our content will be even easier to find - just go to thestage.co.uk/strictly!

OK, Scott dear, we're ready. Where are our charts?
I'm here too, thanks for the link Eva, I was just about to do some searching.
I missed Camilla and Karen in the professionals dance at the start.
Rav is wearing Ramps's spangly shirt but he'll need a lot more help than that!
oh dear, I had high hopes for him too Carys! Still, it is ony week1, anything could happen yet
Rav-Tango. Not sure about the choice of music. He moved his feet quickly, not sure if they were in time. Looked a bit mechanical. Goodish for first dance.
Ricky-Waltz. Sort of OK, looked like his head had been stuck on wonky. Had a nice flow, seemed to be in time. Not bad.
Chris-Tango. Now this seemed to be more like it. Reminded me of an early Austin H, was it just the small feet, or is there a little bit of promise for the future?
Jade-Waltz. Another with potential. (Ian did wonders making her look better than she actually was.) With polishing, she may be one to watch.
Martina-Waltz. Not bad, again a bit mechanical, but it is the first dance. Matthew was brave in the beginning with the opening, not really pulled off as she looked a little tentative on her own.
Lynda-Tango. Not a contender, but not too bad, not a John S at any rate.
End of my SCD due to computer panic, just managed to save what I'd got before total shutdown
Jade-Cha cha. Nice legs in time with music. Good hips at times and Ian had his chest out so extra marks for that.
Ali-Rumba. Good splits, she’s very bendy. Nice dance. I’m never very fond of the rumba.
Lynda-Cha cha. Very stiff, no real movement from chest to knee. Not her dance at all.
Rav-Rumba. Touch of the John Sgts but with added hip action, not good.
Chris-Rumba. Not too bad, looks like he is one to watch. IF he sorts out his hands.
Joe-Cha cha. Stiff legs, no fluidity in movement of body, not good. I don’t think he was in time either.
Martina-Rumba. The seemed to be just going through the motions. Also extended follow through at ends of sections. In summary, something missing.
Ricky-Cha cha. Why the goldfish mouth throughout the dance? On the long camera shots on my small screened TV, it didn’t look too bad, very bouncy and fun.
Great to see Arlene back on the panel in the 2010 Tour. Thought Austin Healey is a fantastic dancer in Tour, really hope he appears soon as a Guest Dancer on a future SCD Show..FANTASTIC! ps, his brood of little girls are beautiful.
